BLACKBERRY INFUSED EARL GREY ICED TEA #drink #healthy #recipes #fresdrink #yummy

Blackberry Infused Earl Gray Iced Tea with it's rich, plum shading and sweet, splendid flavor is a wonderful expansion to your mid year table.

Blackberries are at long last in season (yahoo!) and I make them develop wild all around my home. On the off chance that you don't, don't stress! Tremendous, in season blackberries can be found at any supermarket in the lake summer. Their succulent flavor and excellent shading makes me need to place them in all things. Like this pitcher of mixed lord dim frosted tea.

Made in minutes, it's ideal to keep in the ice chest or stir up for a gathering. Include vodka and a sprinkle of club soft drink for a late spring mixed drink. Or on the other hand, make a baron dark frosted latte with a sprinkle of milk or cream.

Blackberry Infused Earl Gray Iced Tea is made utilizing the equivalent simple 5 stage tea implantation strategy I use for all frosted tea mixtures. Like my Raspberry Infused Iced Tea Latte and my boozy Peach Tea Bourbon Smash.

Ingredients :

  • 1 pint fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey
  • 8 bags earl grey tea or 4 tablespoons loose leaf tea
  • 5 cups water
  • 5 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup cream (optional)

Instructions :

  1. Place 1/2 pint of blackberries in a single layer on baking sheet, cover and freeze.
  2. Bring 5 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Place remaining 1/2 pint of blackberries in a large bowl with sugar. Crush until broken up slightly.
  4. Add loose leaf tea to the crushed blackberry mixture or add tea bags.
  5. Pour hot water over mixture and let steep for only 5 minutes. Be careful not to steep longer or your tea may become bitter.
  6. Place 5 cups of ice in a large serving pitcher and strain blackberry infused tea over ice.
  7. The ice will melt and immediately cool the tea.
  8. Add frozen blackberries before serving to keep the tea cold, but not watered down.
  9. Add cream and sprigs of fresh or dried lavender flowers (optional).
