Sweet, fresh, simple, refreshing margaritas perfect for your summer barbecues. It’s Margarita Tuesday! Yessss. Yes. Perfect for today or all summer long. Fruity margaritas.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cantaloupe juice
- 1/2 cup tequila (4 ounces)
- 1/4 cup triple sec (2 ounces )
- 1/4 cup lime juice (2 ounces)
- Chili salt (optional)
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 lime wedge
- Cantaloupe juice
- 2 cups chopped fresh cantaloupe
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
- Stir all ingredients in a small pitcher.
- Optional step – Place chili salt on a plate. Rub the rim of the glasses with lime wedge and press the rim into the chili salt.
- Pour margarita into glasses.
- To make Cantaloupe juice
- Blend cantaloupe pieces, water and sugar and in a blender, until smooth. Strain mixture.
